now I understand why they call it defense
After spending so many days and nights on my dissertation, it is like my child. This morning my advisor came in and talked to me for a short while. He wanted to change some structure in my dissertation, and then I got all defensive and convinced him that it is good as it is.
No matter how crappy it might be, it is mine.

I wish I had something great to say, but I have no clue! You are amazing to be going through this. Once it is finished, you will have the greatest sense of accomplishment!
